GOOD TO KNOW
Sorana brings project files, AI conversations and document editing into one workspace for architecture teams. Find information, compare decisions and prepare your next deliverable without switching tools.
Create an account, set up your workspace and add a project. Upload your files, enable AI in workspace settings and ask your first question.
PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown, up to 3 MB per file and 50 MB per workspace. Upload entire folders to preserve their structure. OCR can extract text from scanned PDFs. Sorana does not interpret technical drawings, DWG or BIM models.
Your project files, chats and editor stay together. Mention a file with @, enable workspace-wide references or turn on external sources. Open a citation beside the chat and turn an answer into an editable document.
Yes. Citations link to the original document and the passage used in the answer. AI can still miss information or make mistakes, so review important decisions with your team. Sorana does not certify regulatory compliance or include licensed SIA standards.
The database and file storage are hosted in Zurich. The application and email services also use European infrastructure outside Switzerland. AI requests send the necessary excerpts to model providers through OpenRouter. Processing is not exclusively Swiss.
OpenCaseLaw provides statutes and Swiss court decisions. geo.admin.ch provides the federal geodata catalogue. Sorana maintains a daily reference index with update status and original links. Public keywords can extend case-law searches through the live API. Coverage is not exhaustive; geodata descriptions are not parcel valuations.
You can upload files and folders today. Direct DMS and BIM connections are not currently available.
